The Caterpillar C18 pump drive engine series is an I-6, 4-Stroke-Cycle-Diesel engine with a 183.0 mm (7.2 in) bore, 145.0 mm (5.7 in) stroke and 18.1 L (1104.5 in³) displacement.
Caterpillar® C18 Pump Engines, with ratings : 447 – 597 bkW (600 – 800 BHP) @ 1750-2100 RPM, meet U.S. EPA Tier 3 or U.S. EPA Tier 2 emission standards for stationary emergency pump engines. Rating: 522 bkW (700 BHP) @ 1500 RPM is Non-certified. All ratings are FM Approved and UL Listed. Starting on demand is a must for a pump engine – always.
